So remember on Monday when we made those Crazy Easy 3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Dinners? Yes, I know. Slow cooker buffalo chicken. I know. You’re welcome. Today I’m continuing our adventures in conquering things in 3 simple steps with a super easy DIY. Now if you’re sitting there thinking, “Marla I can’t DIY my way out of paper bag even with a Pinterest tutorial.” Not to fear. I’ve totally got you covered.
Let’s just take a moment to look at how adorable this project is. I mean the cuteness. What do the youths say? “I can’t even.”
Don’t forget to pin this for later!
Confession: I actually made this before Harper was born. Except for about 5 of these headbands which I purchased later, I had an entire arsenal of headbands and barrettes (do people still call them that?) ready to go for when Harper was born. And it was a good thing I stocked up on headbands cause 14 months in, we’re still working on getting hair.
I’m not kidding when I say how easy this was to put together. Here’s what you’ll need:
+1 Ribbon Memo Pinboard (I got mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond but this one on Amazon is particularly adorable)
+6 Small Hooks (you’ll want the base of the hook to look like a screw – this will help you push it into the memo board)
+Baby Clothespins (I bought the owl and fox ones at Michael’s in the dollar bin) or you can get something simple on Amazon here
1. Before mounting the board on the wall, push hooks into the bottom of the board as shown below.
2. Mount board on wall using (or not using) the instructions provided.
3. Fasten barrettes to the ribbon on the board and clip headbands using clothespins. Hang remaining headbands on hooks (as shown above).
Ta-Da! 3 simple steps to an adorably easy DIY for your little princess. If you’re feeling particularly crafty you could even make your own pinboard. But we’re all about 3 step processes this week.
