I love to meal plan every Sunday, before my weekly shop on Monday morning. But with two toddlers running around (and 1 who doesn’t nap anymore), meal planning can’t be an all-day-affair.
Meal planning is just one more thing I’ve got to get done quickly and efficiently, because as we speak, the laundry is taking over my bedroom. This hack is one of my new favorite time-savers and I’m so excited to share it with you!
Here’s How I Do It:
- Grab my grocery list pad
- Open up my Cheat Sheet on my phone (I also have one on the side of my fridge)
- Take stock of what’s in the fridge, freezer, and pantry – this way I can choose meals based on what I already have which allows me to save money at the grocery store
- Quickly pick a dinner idea from each day (sometimes I mix & match)
- Write out the week’s dinners on my weekly meal planner!
- Done!
