How to Host the Ultimate Fall Pinterest Party

Interested in hosting a Fall Pinterest Party for your mom friends? This is the ultimate fall get-together guide: recipes, crafts, desserts & drinks! Plus ideas for the kids as well.

Did you know that throwing a Pinterest Party is an actual thing?

Like, not something I just made up as an excuse to be on Pinterest, but a real, actual thing people do?

If you didn’t, then I’ll be the first to say, welcome to the dark side, friend.

There is absolutely no going back from this. 🙂

A Pinterest Party is essentially the ultimate girl’s get-together.

  • There are crafts
  • cocktails
  • delicious, next-level treats
  • and there are decidedly no toddlers around to spill said cocktails on said crafts and/or delicious treats (unless you want to include them – I’ve got you covered!)

So if I’ve got you hooked and you’re thinking to yourself: Yes, I want to go to there, then listen closely, because I’ve got the Ultimate Fall Pinterest Party guide for you today – AKA – everything you need to know so you can throw the most amazing pumpkin-spice-everything girl’s day, Q&A included!

Pinterest Party Q & A

FAQs

What exactly is a Pinterest party?

I swear I didn’t make this up! I’ve been to a few and hosted a few myself!
A Pinterest Party is essentially a themed get-together, in this case, Fall-themed. Everyone brings a dish they found on Pinterest (potluck style) and the materials to do a craft (also found on Pinterest).

What is the best way to organize a Fall Pinterest Party?

An evite, group text, or Facebook invite all work! You want each guest to be able to share what they’re going to bring.
This is also a great way for each mom to share what craft she’ll be bringing.

What types of food & crafts should I pick for this type of party?

I love a good themed party and a seasonal party is even easier to plan. For this type of party, the idea is to pick something super “Pinterest-y” that maybe you wouldn’t normally make. Really go for it!

How to Host the Ultimate Fall Pinterest Party

Following the Q&A above, you’ll want to:

  • Choose your guest list
  • Send out invites or create a Facebook event
  • In the invite description, explain the theme and ask each guest to comment with what craft they will bring

Pinterest Party Craft

You can do this one of two ways:

  1. The host picks the craft and provides the materials for everyone.
  2. Everyone picks their own craft to do and brings their own materials with them.
Here are 2 fall craft ideas to inspire you (one for the moms, one if kids are invited!)
  1. DIY Pumpkin Spice Latte Sugar Scrub for the moms
  2. Fall Sensory Bin (if kids are attending!)

Fall Pinterest Party Food

Here are some ideas to get you started:

  1. The host makes the main dish.
  2. Depending on how many guests will be attending, it’s a good idea to have 2 different appetizers, a specialty drink or cocktail, a side dish, and 2 desserts.

  4. These are such great tips, Marla! I haven’t even thought of that before but now super excited to give it a go one day. It will sound super sad but since hubby and I have relocated we have been living far away from friends and family. So it has been tough to stay in touch and get together the way we all used to (we have the most amazing group of friends!). We hope to move back if the door opens up or move somewhere when we can feel like home, and where I can host such parties 🙂
